Still advertizing station, but I quit. My certification files stoped working with my old Lagrange 1.9 and I' no able to install a newer version of it (and I-m not going to use the AppImage, of course). Anyway, this is probably a definitive good bye. Soon I'll be at NomadNet. Take care.

Q: Why does Lojban dictionary have not the word "Stoic"?

A: Because Lojban is a logical, constructed, human language created by the Logical Language Group which aims to be syntactically unambiguous.

I'm using Lagrange 1.9.1 opened from a usb stick on Ubuntu. It was compiled on a Debian system. It is fully operational - except it crashes when I try to open an http url.

This was the final test. I confess that since day one here I was suspicious that this browser might have some shenanigan. Well, I could not find any.

Curiously enough I simultaneously tested another well known Gemini browser, which I intuitively thought would be trustable and, guess what, it was not. (I hate when intuition wrongs me. Don't you?)

I owe @skyjake an apology.

Some peole are comlaining that their TLS certificates expired, and asking what to do. The simplest thing is to ggenerate a new certificate using another nick. Secnd, if you really value your present nick you can ask @martin for help. Third, you can actually "extend" your certificate following the tutorial on the link I'll leave bellow, but if you're not familiar with keypairs perhaps you will not be able to do it. Here it is and good luck: https://techblog.bozho.net/jks-extending-a-self-signed-certificate/

Ambition Has Roots in Roman Politics - When candidates for public office in ancient Rome wanted to be elected, they had to do just what modern candidates must do. They had to spend most of their time going around the city urging the citizens to vote for them. The Latin word for this effort was ambitio, which came from ambire, a verb meaning “to go around.” Since this activity was caused by a desire for honor or power, the word eventually came to mean “the desire for honor or power.” ... For sci-fi fans and especially those who like the 'origin stories' in gemini://cosmic.voyage I highly recommend the reading of Cold Victory by Poul Anderson. Download a free ebook from https://archive.org/details/coldvictory00ande or buy a cheap 'collection edition' on paper on https://www.fantasticfiction.com/a/poul-anderson/cold-victory.htm

Linux Foundation readies Global COVID Certificate Network - It will do this by establishing a #global trust #registry #network... It's being built by the Linux Foundation Public Health and its allies, Affinidi, AOKPass, Blockchain Labs, Evernym, IBM, Indicio.Tech, LACChain, Lumedic, Proof Market, and ThoughtWorks. These companies have already implemented COVID certificate or pass systems for governments and industries... Once in place, the GCCN will support #Global #COVID #Certificates (GCC). These certificates will have three use cases: Vaccination, recovery from infection, and test results. => https://www.zdnet.com/article/linux-foundation-readies-global-covid-certificate-network/
