I may have an overdose of computer work. I definitely need some vacations. Where do you people plan to go this Summer?

@mc I've also spent some time there during this trip and yeah the smaller vibe is great. It seems like a more livable city if you're not after the big city vibes of Barcelona. 路 3 years ago
@martin Barcelona is a fascinating city, but it has grown too much. I prefer Valencia now, but I choose to be there in the winter. (Valencian is a dialect of Catalan.) 路 3 years ago
I've been in Barcelona the last month. It's a nice combination of being a big city, having great weather + beaches, and a sense of being quite unique from other parts of Spain. A lot of Catalonians are proudly independent and the city has a different vibe because of it. Personal bonus: there are lots of Esperanto speakers here! 路 3 years ago
@mc Yes, gotta get a verified negative covid test 72 hours or less before you leave, and that's only for domestic travelers. Travel looks very different these days! 路 3 years ago
@calgacus That's fabulous. You need a lot of documents and certificates to travel now, don't you? 路 3 years ago
Jetting off to Hawaii this summer for a wedding. Never been, and I'm still in disbelief that I'll actually set foot inside a plane again. 路 3 years ago
