Seriously, i'd be nice if American didn't base the world world on themselves. Somebody goes into space? THEY'RE GOING TO BOMB USSS!! Somebody creates better airplane transport? THEY'RE GOING TO KNOCK DOWN OUR BUILDINGS!! Somebody creates better medical care? OMG, BIOLOGICAL WAREFAAARRR!!

Not us, personally. But they could easily hock IRBMs at Europe.
