I don't get this, by *Empire* he'd certainly become quite good. His time with Yoda is a magical part of the film and it wouldn't be as good if the Yoda puppet wasn't convincing, and Mark wasn't convincing.

I'm biased, but Mark is not bad IMO

I mean I took the original Star wars to be A New Hope since that was the film originally called Star Wars.

Honestly he's ok in Empire and Jedi but as for perfect casting I dunno. Could I imagine anyone different/better in Luke's role? Yep.
