I use new modmail for:

• Private mod notes. Discussing a potential unban or any other relevant point without interference.

• Hiding username. Seriously cuts down on harassment.

• Seeing the previous posts and comments the user made in the sidebar.

• Easily viewing modmail per subreddit.
