View submission: Announcing a new mobile Mod Queue
I second the notion above, swiping controls really aren't ideal. It could be because I'm left-handed, have small hands, etc. but when I swipe to scroll, I tend to swipe a little in horizontal directions as well. Take the new swiping feature for mobile Reddit chats as an example.
The reduced screen space on mobile devices makes this somewhat of a tricky balance to strike
Why not just make a toggle button for swiping? For example, I've noticed that currently on Android mobile, tapping the moderator shield icon brings up a new UI. I believe it replaced the options to respond/vote with the buttons to approve, remove, lock, etc.
So basically, whenever moderators want to go through the mod queue and start swiping, they can press a single icon that changes the UI to reflect what they're doing. Is this feasible?

Just wanted to add in my support, I think you summed up how I'm feeling perfectly. Swiping has made modding on mobile almost impossible. It's not a quick swipe and doesn't work for me almost entirely (I can keep swiping and swiping and nothing happens). Today I had an accidental unban and was mortified because I hadn't even seen it when it was clicked.
