The screen feels overly cluttered; there's no free space, and the lack of color differentiation makes everything blend together. It's simply overwhelming.

The "new" version was better in every way.

It didn’t hurt my eyes, and the menu layout was much better. For example, I don’t want to constantly see followed subs, so why am I forced to look at them?

Why are the "About Community" and "Rules" sections so large? Why do I have to see them all the time?

And so on.

I could go on, but the previous version was perfect.

There are many posts where people explain what they don’t like about this.

And if the "old" version could stick around, then why can’t the "new" version?

P.S.: Sorry for bad english

I use uBlockOrigin for Chrome, it is available for Firefox as well. I use elements to block certain potions of the left column I don't want to see. I am not all that tech savvy but will try to explain steps to do this below. I did manage to block some things so the left column is not that cluttered at the top with things I don't want. If you fail at blocking something or it blocks too much you need to open the extension and go to settings and clear out the filters it applied and start over. With practice I did manage to get my layout a little more user friendly.

A little explanation how to pull up the blocking element of the extension once you have the extension added to your browser. Right click to pull up the menu scroll down and click block element, left click and area to block a plus sign should appear and now highlight the area you want to block. Once you have that area highlighted and you release the left click button and box in the bottom right should appear, click create should remove the area highlighted. If it removes too much you need to click the icon that looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece in the top right of the browser and open uBO and go top my filters tab and highlight the last paragraph, that should be the last filter applied and then refresh the browser and try again. It took me some practice to get the correct area blocked but now my left column looks more user friendly.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback! Your English is great! No apologies!

Is dark mode an option for you in regard to the new site being hard on your eyes?

The largeness of those sections is likely related to the bug I mentioned in my post. That should have been fixed, but if you're still seeing it and have a screenshot or a link, I'd be happy to take a look.
