Hi!
Thanks for reading! Could you expand a bit on "sucks" so that I can pass it along to the correct team?

The screen feels overly cluttered; there's no free space, and the lack of color differentiation makes everything blend together. It's simply overwhelming.
The "new" version was better in every way.
It didn’t hurt my eyes, and the menu layout was much better. For example, I don’t want to constantly see followed subs, so why am I forced to look at them?
Why are the "About Community" and "Rules" sections so large? Why do I have to see them all the time?
And so on.
I could go on, but the previous version was perfect.
There are many posts where people explain what they don’t like about this.
And if the "old" version could stick around, then why can’t the "new" version?
P.S.: Sorry for bad english

There's alot of stuff tbh, and I cant name most of them even if I tried. Just check out comments under the posts in this subreddit, like here: https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/1hc0laj/any%5C_way%5C_to%5C_get%5C_the%5C_old%5C_new%5C_ui%5C_or%5C_should%5C_i%5C_just/[1][2]

Many people are really unhappy with its design, as its trying to "mimic the mobile interface" and be more "user-friendly", but ultimately failing at both, being unappealing to the point of people decideding to *leave* the platform
New.reddit design was perfect for a web desktop application, and beloved by many. And I am so confused as to why you decided to give up on it and instead pull corporate treatment on your "beloved" users :c

Buddy you've been receiving endless feedback that's gone almost completely un-acted on since you forced this dogwater excuse for a UI on us in the first place. You allegedly even had a whole system for tracking issues that people had with it (we all know that you didn't actually track anything that went in that form) so why do you always need everyone to repeat themselves?

i don't understand why couldn't new.reddit.com[1] still work, its super frustrating. i and many reddit users hate the new ui because its simply too different; i think keeping both is a great solution, so why not do that? why deprecate it??

It isn't that complicated. If you want an example of how you can improve the layout, just look at "new.reddit.com." Literally everything about it was better. It had impeccable spacing between threads on the main page and in subs, the balance between bolded text and text size was very well done. It was streamlined but also contained a lot of information. It is not that easy to pull this off (obviously) but the old design did that.
This layout feels completely off balance with way too much space, and things are not emphasized as well as the old version. Just literally look at every detail on the old version and try to understand why it was so well done.
I just want to add, I am not opposed to change, I liked the change from old to new reddit because it was well-designed. This simply is not as well designed as new.reddit does, both from an aesthetic and functional perspective. There are so many things that are worse that I just say "look at the old way" but I'm not trying to be dismissive or to say I hate change, I just think that layout was very well done.
