View submission: R/Askmen discusses getting swarmed by women
i hate to tell you this but men can start reading whenever they want. women having a certain hobby more than men is not discrimination against men.
edit: since your “point” is “oh male dominated hobbies cater to women sometimes but women read more!! what now feminists?!” uhh both of these are gender neutral hobbies, but women have been specifically excluded from video games for a LONG time. also, if you knew history, we were also excluded from reading!! and still are in some places!!

And why were women excluded from gaming? Because games catered only to men and actively alienated female players with extreme sexualization and “bro” behavior.

My problem isn’t women read more, it’s that publishing houses and bookstores cater almost exclusively to women, specifically the booktok market. Barnes and noble almost solely promotes porn now. Sorry, I meant “spicy dark romance”.
