Yes that too. I thought my post would be less confrontational if I wrote about an animal versus a person. But I’ve seen both, and I didn’t understand it. The commenters helped to explain it, so now I understand they’re not saying that a person or animal not beautiful matters less.

I did read the responses above. And I can appreciate where are the commenters are coming from. Nonetheless, there are significantly fewer views, interactions and comments under crime stories of people who are not deemed conventionally attractive. That’s just human nature. So it isn’t confrontational to post your observation especially when it is supported by data and a psychological phenomenon known as “attraction bias”. It has been proven that people tend to treat others favorably when they deemed them attractive. That favor is even extended to the amount of sympathy shown for said attractive parties.
It’s OK to share your insights. Especially when they’re right. 👍🏽
