Good day Everyone!
I just spent most of the last day doing something I've been putting off for quite some time, getting Thunderbird configured *just right*.
It's a thing of beauty. My calendars are all set, it archives things the way I want and in the right places, it behaves how I want. Simply marvelous. I'm in love with unified folders and saved searches as folders. Really puts a smile on my face!
Hope my exhuberance cheers someone up. The sun is shining, it's warm for a change and I have my window open for some fresh air.

I just finished configuring Thunderbird to my liking last week, including settiing up ProtonMail Bridge. I'm extremely happy with it. ยท 8 months ago
eggy: Do what, configure thunderbird?
Well, in version 115+ there is a cogwheel in the lower left hand corner for your general settings. Inside the general settings there is a button labeled account settings which is where you go to change all the settings for each individual account you have as well as some other stuff.
For other stuff, like getting started with unified folders, it's View->Folders->Unified Folders. That'll group all your accounts shared folders into main heading of the same name. So all inboxes under one main inbox etc.. For filtering (a powerfull tool) it's Tools->Message Filters.
Other than that, just explore. Hope that helps. Cheers! ยท 8 months ago
