Could buy a used Nintendo Switch. I have games for the kids, but I'm still looking for something for me. Does anyone have a recommendation? I was thinking "The Stanley Parable" last ....

@smokey Writing this to you from a Steam Deck I definitely agree about which has the most value. However, you can pick up a used Switch for <$150 these days and you'll have it right away instead of waiting for a couple of months for it to arrive, so it really depends on mimas's price and time horizons.
@mimas There are a ton of great games on the Switch at this point in its life cycle, it depends on what kind of games you prefer! Stanley Parable is a great choice, and in addition to the games listed below I would consider Tunic as a great option if you enjoy Zelda-likes. There are also a lot of great Pokemon titles at this point if that's your thing! 路 2 years ago
Had my switch since it was released back in 2017. The switch itself is a decent little device for what it is and when it was released. As long as you keep expectations in check it will run most games fine. Nintendo as a company is so shitty and anti-consumer that I will never buy another game from them. Ive grown to dispise nintendo over the years. Besides that, it was barely worth the 20$ per year for shitty online service and some old emulated games, absolutely not worth 50$. All the games on the e-store are jacked up 20-50% compared to everywhere else. IMO at this point in time a steam deck is a much better investment in every way. 路 2 years ago
If you like J-RPGs : Octopath Traveler. A-RPG : Zelda BotW and also the Skyrim port which is pretty good. If you prefer action/arcade : Shovel Knight, Rogue Legacy, Wonderboy. Also Nine Parchments if you like hack and slash ! Maybe tell us more about your tastes ? 路 2 years ago
Zelda BotW, the one game that would make me buy a switch 路 2 years ago
