Vim 'K' and keywordprg. How do these things pass me by? One lifetime is just not enough.

@nristen "A tool that has become so useful that I default to trying to find ways to use it for much more than a basic editor." QED, it's an addiction. :) 路 3 years ago

@nristen It was set automatically when I was editing some C code. I think you can set any language-specific keyword lookup (assuming the language config doesn't do this already). 路 3 years ago

It's a damn good text editor/processor ... but lacking by design features that would make it a fully-fledged modern IDE. I wish it could be ;) 路 3 years ago

I don't believe vim is an addiction. It is a tool. A tool that has become so useful that I default to trying to find ways to use it for much more than a basic editor. 路 3 years ago

I admit, I have never used 'K' or keywordprg in vim. After looking it up, I am curious if you have set keywordprg to something besides the default? 路 3 years ago

You should not use Vim. Vim is an addiction. Here: https://mcblg.pythonanywhere.com/post/31/ 路 3 years ago
