Dear search engine makers how can I tell your services to do not crawl some specific folders? I use a folder where I upload the drafts and I don't want that discoverable. Can you help me with this? 🙏 Thanks! 👍

Thanks to "gemi.dev" by @acidus I was able to read in a gemini fashion this interview: gemini://gemi.dev/cgi-bin/waffle.cgi/article?https%3A%2F%2Fnews.yahoo.com%2Fnobel-winner-spence-sees-non-153043012.html One thing pointed out is the slowdown's production in China which is affecting the global economy. Now the linear growth of China was unrealistic, and probably an artifact, therefore I can't stop to think that all this COVID19 situation was made, by China, exactly to slowdown its production and consequently to raise up the prices for units. 🤔

Dear Capsulers, Micro, the editor, is fine to write but not so much for reading, I usually read the drafts in Lagrange with the content already online... The whole process is a little bit cumbersome... 🫤 What are your strategies to proof-reading your GMI files? Thanks... 😇

@martin in each thread only the OP and the people you "tag" receive notifications. I wonder if you can add a special "@all" command that sends a notification to all the people in the comment section. 🤷

Not sure if I want to address this properly through a log but all this copilot thing has several serious implications. To begin, M$ is good as much any other else corporation looking for profit (by any means). To continue, Let say that copilot is actually amazing, let say that is not infringing any licenses, it doesn't mean that is harmless. The problem is not copilot itself is who handles it. To wrap this up, M$ is creating addiction as many pushers do with new drugs, it is giving the service almost for free but the true pain will start when the majority will be addicted. Good luck!

I recently watched this (super cool) presentation about Gopher and Gemini, and it was very fascinating because I didn't know anything about Gopher. I took that Gemini was "better" than Gopher as axiom, but really knowing why, but now I really got how much Gemini and gemtext made my life easier! Gopher is actually pretty cool too and there are many tools to convert plain text in Gopher which make the life easier, but I am relieved that for Gemini I didn't need to learn anything more than opening a text editor! p.s micro is my favorite Gemini text editor ;-) https://media.ccc.de/v/mch2022-83-rocking-the-web-bloat-modern-gopher-gemini-and-the-small-internet

Hi folks 👋 Could you suggest me a tool for generating atom/RSS feed? I used to use "gemlog.sh" but I had some issue in using it, mainly because of me. Thus I'd like to try something else, thanks! 😎

The TLS dilemma... I am recently stepped in a lot of server author logs dissatisfied about SSL/TLS on Gemini, looking for others alternatives; one above the others is the NOISE framework/protocol. I do not understand anything about cryptography and, as long it works and it is safe, I do not really care about the underlying technology in use. My question is if TLS didn't work out on the field for many, can we consider to change it for the good? What are your thoughts in regard?
