New Gemlog entry:
"Introducing the Re:log concept"

I would really publish this also on Atenna but I haven't figured out yet how to re-implement the Atom feed yet... :(

@freezr Right. The Gemsub spec is basically simple. As long as you have a title and dates in links, it counts, even if you have a bunch of text or headings. Gemsub clients (like Antenna and Lagrange, etc.) will just ignore everything else, basically, including links that don't have dates in them, so you don't have to worry about having a link to goto root, etc., because gemsub clients only pick up the links with dates in them. Hopefully this makes sense :) 路 2 years ago
@krixano you're right, it actually worked! 馃帀馃帀馃帀
I am on Antenna again! 馃嵕馃嵕馃嵕 路 2 years ago
@freezr Not sure if you did this or not, but your gemlog page was already posted to Antenna! Your current gemlog page is already a gemsub page because it has the 2 main requirements (title and dates in links). The only thing you'd have to do regarding antenna is make sure you re-submit your gemlog page with each new post that you add to it. 路 2 years ago
@freezr No, you don't actually. The only thing you need is a page with a title, an optional subtitle, and links that have the date-format at the beginning of their text. The rest of the stuff would be ignored by Antenna. 路 2 years ago
@moddedbear & @krixano I think I get it... I have to copy my index and call it any name and remove all the fancy stuff from there... 路 2 years ago
Here it is :)

@freezr @moddedbear is right. This is the Gemsub Companion Spec. Any page that has links that begin with a date (using YYYY-MM-DD) acts as a Gemsub Feed, and is supported by Antenna as well as Lagrange and other gemini clients. I will link the spec in a sec.... 路 2 years ago
@moddedbear Interesting, let me try this out... 路 2 years ago
No need for an atom feed. You can give Antenna your post index page and it'll parse any link that begins with YYYY-MM-DD as an entry. 路 2 years ago
