Gotta necro this post because BEES! I am an on and off beekeeper - the library I work at has one (1) hive, but it's always a gamble if it survives the winter.

It will never not be amazing to me to see them set up their comb, how fast and accurate they built and how strong a comb is. Our hive is a top bar hive so all the combs are only attached to a bar on top, and they hold 2kg of honey each! It takes strength to crush an empty comb, too, the structure is super sturdy.
