i know some of you are following my journey back to nature. i have exciting news to share. my wife and i spent all day at the lot of land we like to buy in the mountains. together with the sellers we walked he property lines (the ones we were able to find, lol) und i cut some bush and dead trees to get to most corners of the lot. discovered a small redwood grove on the edge of the lot. it is so peaceful and beautiful. lots of small flat spots and little hideouts all over there. we agreed on a price. now preparing the paperwork.

It might be something as benign as "we're planning to set a dirt road right here so we can sell more remote lots". Better safe than sorry ;) · 2 years ago
@prk that is good advice. i couldn’t find anything nearby on the county project monitor. still have to check at state level. would be surprised, though. hard to imagine any infrastructure making it through that kind of terrain. but you never know! · 2 years ago
Please check with local authorities to make sure there is no infrastructure project planned for the next few years, some people got in a lot of trouble because they overlooked this kind of thing · 2 years ago
