I just learned how to connect to my phone from my PC via SSH and selfhost static sites on it. I鈥檓 not sure I鈥檒l use it any time soon when I have the hosts that I have rn, but I鈥檓 very glad I decided to learn the skills. It was so much fun and I have a new found appreciation for Android phones!

Another fun thing to try is installing a lightweight desktop environment on the phone and remoting into it with VNC. You can even remote in from a different phone. 路 2 years ago

That is interesting. Never thought about using ssh that way. I have used an app to ssh from the phone to a local computer. 路 2 years ago

that sounds like it could have some fun applications (or at least an adventure or three in geekery) 路 2 years ago
