I'm making pulled pork and after seven hours, it's just about done. Now it gets to rest under the covers of the bed for a bit while I successfully burned my tongue tasting the sauce. But it will be so worth it. I bought a bit more meat than I wanted and during preparation had the extreme first world problem of 'the roast doesn't fit into the opening of the 3l freezer bag'. It will be pulled pork for literal days.

@hanzbrix well, then drink not so much and just enjoy the taste ;) get a homebrewing set and make your own stuff. i had a luckshot and my first try was one of the best beers i ever had. it is told that we bavarians are all beer addicts cos we start with it for breakfast xD 路 2 months ago

@bookscorpion i like smoked meat, but not to the overkill, pfefferbeisser or geselchtes for example. and imo it depends on the kind of meat what flavour you add, i'd never eat my steak with bbq sauce, a bit of salt and pepper is enough for me. @hanzbrix you forgot weisswurscht, brezen, sempft and beer for breakfast ;) 路 2 months ago

@bavarianbarbarian I don't bother with smoke or any of that fancy shit, I just MacGyver a sauce for the meat for marinate in with BBQ sauce and whatever I've got (green fig jam this time, 10/10 can recommend) and then it goes into the oven for a couple of hours. But yeah, steak that bleeds out all over my plate or a Mettbr枚tchen? Yes please :D 路 2 months ago

enjoy it! but me for myself, i don't get it, why smoke a piece of meat to the death? i like my meat alive, mett, tatar or steak flamed for 30 seconds &) maybe some kind of my barbarian nature xD 路 2 months ago
