Poll over which reminds me of my reasoning: I've been in.close contact with spiders, geese, and moose without feeling like I was in direct danger. By elimination, lion is scariest as an unknown if I would ever encounter one.
Of course, given that I live in northern Sweden, moose is by far the most likely cause of bodily harm. This has happened in town, and when I noticed that there was a mother&child duo, the 20-30 or so meters I had stopped feeling sufficient.
