@stefan Partially. NSFW posts absolutely require a CW, anything else is a judgment call. I’ve actually occasionally very respectfully suggested to someone that their CW was unnecessary. But I think the tone-policing of 2023 is way less now.
On alt text, I really have sympathy for people who might give you a hard time about that. There’s a coherent case to make that omitting alt suggests contempt for the audience, which is never gonna get a good response.
