Today I decided to make yet another layout change. I've now moved my longer entries that were first in the gemlog, then in the about section, to the new Stories section. I feel that I can keep things a bit more organized this way.
I also added the story about my Linux experience. When I got to the end, I remembered a question that I had, and haven't really thought about too much as I havne't gotten my contractor's license yet. What, if any, software is avaliable for contractors? Preferrably FOSS, something that can generate a work order, handle inventory/parts used, and generate an invoice? I have more thoughts, but I haven't seen much.
Apparently the cold that my daughter was getting over, well, she wasn't getting over it. It's now an ear infection. The doctor perscribed Amoxicillin. Apparently the state I'm in has a shortage, we got the last dose in town. Yes there are many towns in my state, but needless to say, we got the last dose from the third pharmacy. At least we know what we're up against and we can treat it. Good luck to anyone else who needs the medication. Has anyone heard of this shortage?
