View submission: Bahrain declares Hezbollah a terrorist organization
Hezbollah was formed in response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. The reason they are present at the southern Lebanese border is to deter any future Zionist aggression.
Also Bahrain is an island so it doesn't have any borders.

Hmm how does assassinating the prime minister of Lebanon defend Lebanon against Zionist aggression?

Ah yes, deterring zionist aggression. That must be why the [UN has stated Hezbollah began the last war] (http://domino.un.org/unispal.NSF/fd807e46661e3689852570d00069e918/87e2508779d8ec83852571b6004c761f[1])

So.... Israel invaded Lebanon because the PLO were using south Lebanon as a base to carry out cross border attacks on civilians after they got kicked out of Jordan for doing the same (as well as killing Jordanian civilians).

There is something to be said though for having an army controlled by civilians to defend your borders, not a paramilitary force that is a proxy army for another government.
