Saying that anyone who disagrees with you doesn’t have critical thinking abilities is a great way for walkability advocates to keep losing elections.

That’s not what I said? There are some people I know well who don’t agree with the project who are much more intelligent than I am and critical thinkers. I meant just across the board, everywhere. It’s not disagreement that is the issue, I was legitimately looking for ways to poke holes in it. But so many times, I would answer a good question with real information and would get something like “why are you so defensive, you’re a jerk”. And that’s ok.
