No, they're not *strong*, but for a while they managed to corrupt a fair number of politicians.
What I'm dealing with is NOT Russians, they're Americans with Russian Mafia ties.
Russian influence in the US is now wrecked, except for the fairly small number they've got blackmail material on.
I assume you know about the old KGB term "Kompromat"? The FSB still plays that game - a lot.

Kompromat, no. I dont know much about these KGB stuff. Which is a shame as Im from Hungary. So not much love for the Russians here.
