View submission: [Standard] Grixis Midrange in MoM
It might not be dead, but invoke despair is gonna quickly become an enormous liability due to surge of salvation.
I'm interested in Chandra, sheoldred, backup archpriest, breach, see double, fairie mastermind, omen hawker, hidetsugu... Frankly there's tonnes of options in the new set and I'm not sure what grixis will look like or if it will keep up with other colours.
I think W or W/X is gonna be terrifying.

How does [[Surge of Salvation]] interact with Invoke? just that you won't want to be running so much black? Invoke will get around surge.

White taps out too much to rely on that, I'd be impressed if people played more than two surges in the SB. I havent had much trouble with monowhite lately because grixis can play fish, low to the ground holding up counters and bigrange decks can't deal with that.
