Oblivion and Skyrim both run on the same hardware, so it's not surprising. Processing power has increased sixteen fold since the Xbox 360 came out, yet we're constrained by the capabilities of the consoles. We need to get to the next generation soon, or else graphics are really going to start to stagnate.

Best part about this: I have a completely low-mid range PC. 3ghz Pentium dual core, 9800gtx, and 4 gigs of ram. I can still play on Ultra high quality.

I'd rather have graphics stagnate than have more stupid games that have no replay value or adequate storyline.
