View submission: Bagels from scratch
I’ve made two batches so far from two different recipes. One suggested putting honey in the bath water, the other said sugar and baking soda. I think I’d prefer adding nothing. Also, parchment paper lining the baking pan is an absolute must. I’m going to try making some in a cylinder shape so I can cut them into bagel chips. Marvelous with hummus.

I did nothing in the bath water as well, I’ll probably stick to that. That’s a great idea for bagel chips, I’ll have to get around to it. Sounds terrific!
