Exactly. You are a white American. We are Mexican-Americans. We are chicanos. We are humans with Mexican heritage, children, grandchildren, and family of Mexican immigrants. We are a culture in America, and we are proud of our heritage. We will not abandon our parent’s roots just to be accepted by others. We should be able to appreciate our culture and still be respected as humans by others, not ripped apart and thrown out and harassed. The flag a symbol that represents this, it represents our duality.

The flag does not “represent duality,” it singularly represents the country of Mexico. Also, your stance is not going to force other people to respect or appreciate anything. You and your culture are not more special than other people and their cultures.

My family came here legally, why can't they? We didn't have any money and yet you advocate for illegal aliens to hop the fence - then act surprised when they are at risk of getting deported
