View submission: An Update Regarding Reddit’s API
I think interestingly many contributers, commenters and voters I've seen are here, but so much of the community consumes reddit through nureddit that people don't even realize.
Looking at the stats from a major subreddit I moderate less than 10% of users use old reddit and 3rd party apps combined.
I have no data on what active contributors and commenters use. I'm sure reddit themselves are aware of this and are expecting some level of attrition.
