View submission: Pala-absent daw ako sabi ni HR?
Petty na kung petty, pero gagawin ko itong documented. I will ask my boss if I can document regarding what HR told me and ask for his thoughts through email. Then, I’ll send it to HR for clarification and CC others who are involved or processing these matters. Bahala sila kung magalit, pero ang off talaga sakin if harap-harapan akong gaganunin. Baka wala kasi bumabangga kaya ganyan siya. Lakas ng loob.

This is true OP. Everything should be documented kasi if not, then it did not happen. Kailangan mo idocument lahat ng leaves and offsets mo, CC mo manager mo then he can show support on the email thread na alam niya and approved ginagawa mo. Baka matamaan ka kasi niyan sa performance review.

You can politely tell them off OP
Involve everyone whose feedback matters along with your HR and say something like:
HR has made aware that my offsets for when coming from official work trips land on weekends, were considered as absences. This is contrary to what my superior has advised me to do. Please let me know how I can properly file or document these weekend work days moving forward.
Ganern.

This is good advice OP. Listen to this. Send out an email to your supervisor, cc yung HR person na nagcomment, and cc the HR generic email para ma cc ang ibang HR ng company including the HR Head. "I was informed by HR Person that the dates (list down the dates nag offset ka) were considered absences. Can someone clarify me on this matter? From my understanding, with approval from my supervisor, I was doing offset since I worked on weekends. Does HR not allow this? If so, what's the best solution for this?” Somelike that. Still be respectful, but bring this to the attention of the superiors and HR head, documented by email. Tingnan natin if uulit pa yung HR na yun pag na highlight name niya sa email. 😄

I agree. Saka siguro need din ng better documentation ng HR about offset. Sa amin kasi still need to file it na narireceive ng immediate boss and HR para saan ang “absent” mo like offset for which date, etc.

I would love to do this and I also practice this before but currently I'm only on my 11th month here soo I'm skeptical lang kung mag ganito ako. I already talked to my managers and superiors, ayoko lang tlaga na kumalat pa na "pala absent" ako, and yes very unethical, should be a closed door, hindi sa hallway na madaming employees.

Yes to this. I’d send an email to HR confirming what she said, and copy my boss who approved my offset dates.
