God, just the sound of the heat and the colouration of everything is insane and throws me back to my rural farming town. Pavement too bright so you always have to squint (but never seems bright from inside so you don't bring sunglasses), the open quiet, the depressing ass high school that's lit like a hospital (my high school was a lot darker, so it felt like a dungeon), the high school dance that is way more disappointing than anyone wants to admit.
Perfect. But God does watching it hurt me.
