I dont know why the disclaimer is always used. Spacey being a shitbag doesnt make any of his performances any less brilliant. Hes a brilliant actor, no shame in telling the truth.
I hope he never gets work again and eventually goes to jail, but I will enjoy his previous performances for what they were: fantastic acting.

Also I met him at a Christmas party once (got him a present and everything) and everyone used to be impressed when I told them, and he *ruined* that for me.

Nothing about his role or his presence spoils this movie for me. He and Devito together is proof of more of the inspired casting.
But yeah, not a tear will be shed if he never gets another role in anything

If you only ever mention how great an actor he is then there will be a tendency to minimise what he's done, maybe even try to 'separate art from artist' and hire him again since he is, unfortunately, such an excellent presence on screen. This sort of stuff SHOULD have an ugly, inconvenient stink that sticks to you.
