View submission: Movies that were perfectly cast
The first Pirates of the Carribbean. Every single actor, both main and supporting, is perfect for their role.

I was actually an extra in that movie. One of my best experiences ever.

I've read some harsh critiques of Orlando Bloom's acting.
One of those was fleshing out the idea that the reason Orlando Bloom does so well in POTC is because he's playing a character who is meant to be the main guy, but in reality he's supported by every other character. Which is no different to him as an actor in that particular film.

The first one is soooo good, the dialogue is *chef's kiss* . I like the rest of the series as well, but none of them compare to the first.

Just watched it and I was so impressed with how it still looks so good after 20 years. You're spot on here!

I’m still kind of annoyed that Zoe Saldana only has like one line, but that’s the only blemish I can think of.

I do agree with this somewhat but counter with a different Johnny Depp movie: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Phenomenal casting!

I don’t disagree, but this implies that there were miscasts in the 2nd and 3rd movies. I can’t think of one.

The first one is a perfect movie and all the sequels jumped the shark.
