View submission: We fixed two problematic bugs.
Really glad to see the modmail bug sorted out, thanks!
Gonna shoot my shot here - any chance y'all have a ticket open for spoiler formatting on old.reddit? The tags are inconsistent between old.reddit and new.reddit, leading to accidental spoilers which is an especially big concern for us at /r/ffxiv leading into a new expansion.
Here's some examples:
Old reddit: https://i.imgur.com/BeVpXPV.png
New reddit: https://i.imgur.com/IK7F54F.png
The space in-between the opening spoiler tag and the text leads to revealed spoilers on old.reddit. It would be a huge load off our shoulders to have this fixed, as it's led to confusion/unintentional spoilers for our users and sometimes even creates friction for us when trying to educate them on the issue.
Thanks!

According to the official formatting guide[1], spoilers don't have surrounding spaces, so old.reddit is behaving properly.

You could use Automoderator to hide *incorrect* spoiler tags.
--- body (regex): ["(>! | !<)"] action: filter action_reason: Broken spoilers message: Your {{kind}} has been temporarily removed because you used invalid spoiler tags. Spoilers >!don't have spaces!< `>!don't have spaces!<` so please correct this and then send a modmail message to get it reapproved, or you can delete your {{kind}} and try again.

Yes! We get complaints about this a lot and often people have copy/pasted something with a space, do spoiler it but on old reddit, it shows. Then it gets reported and people argue about spoilers making the OPs feel unwelcome

So many years since introduction of new spoiler format, I kinda lost hope that they will fix it
