Can something be done about the jumping buttons?
Absolutely - this is something that we're actively working on improving. We want mods to be able to cruise through their queue, and we know the "jumping buttons" makes that more difficult.

The jumping when adding a mod note in the user panel (iPadOS, safari desktop) has gotten worse as well.
Oh, and did someone already mention the gigantic subreddit icons in the user panel?
