I feel crazy but I don’t see any mention of emojis when I look at the mod tools

You might have the new UI, this guide is old and Reddit is rolling out a new one.
I have it and see emojis in mod tools under settings. You may have to scroll down.
If you still can't find it make sure you have the right perms.
