View submission: Wrong way driver on 45 S
HPD hasn’t been doing shit about drunk drivers. All these “after hours” places are popping up so the alcoholics don’t have to go home at 2am and they can just keep drinking until 5-6am. Problem is now they are on the roads when people are trying to drive to work/ school

I work a 4 to 4 shift days and nights and have been driving 45 Gulf Freeway for about 25 years. Can you explain the “after hours” places as I don’t know the late scene any longer? I can definitely confirm the police have not been making any stops on 45 S for at least 15 years. This is not hyperbole, they do not make any stops, especially speeding. It’s extremely rare to see a patrol unit let alone one having made a stop on 45.
