Why is there a large blank space taking up the right hand side of the screen? Why is the information I want to read squished into an area one third the width of the screen?

Came here to say exactly this. I was finally slowly getting used to the (still horrible) new layout and then they proceed to make it EVEN WORSE.

Add me to the list. It's evident on all three browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Edge) and quite annoying on a widescreen (34" for me) monitor with that GIANT white space on the right side of the screen and it's more like a third of the screen. The reading pane is squished into the center of the page.
It does seem to be random currently and depends on if you're in a thread like I am now typing this reply - it seems to be normal but, when back to the community page, it's squished again. So it's going back and forth.
This looks like a simple HTML error for the page formatting whether it's set to a table width or set to expand/contract as you widen your browser window (which it usually does.)
Could also be an overlap between app, tablet browser and PC browser HTML codes and they need to check their PC code and get it back to what it was yesterday.

Looks like it's back in order. At least they were quick about this one complaint as opposed to the multitude of others.
