The new UI is awful. It looks almost high-constrast in some ways, but then there's no contrast in other areas. The dark mode looks amoled or something, causing the text to appear way to bright. Also, nothing pops that should. The side bars and also posts just blend into the backgroumd. The entire screen is filled with useless stuff. Also, everything is way too round. It almost looks like a blow up mobile app bc of this. Why not just keep new.reddit.com[1] around at this point? What's the point of the new UI at all even? I can't think of even one advantage.

Thanks for that feedback! I'll share it with the team. Was hoping you could give a little clarification on a couple of things if you have a minute.

Also, nothing pops that should

Could you explain that a bit more?

The entire screen is filled with useless stuff

Which things would you like to see go away?

Also, everything is way too round

I like crisp corners, myself!
