How come it seems like all the bugs of the new UI never seem to get fixed? Is someone reading the r/bugs Reddit? Is there a link to bugs being worked on?

We are forced now to use the new UI yet every subreddit I open lists HOT and not NEW like what my preferences show. I brought this issue up here 3 months ago and I have also reported it in r/bugs at least 4 times in the last year and yet my default sort of NEW still doesn't work. It gets tiresome to change it to new when you belong to multiple subreddits.

I also brought up that the last UI once a post has been read it turns a light shade of grey, now the change is barely noticeable so it is hard to tell if I have previously opened it. Not such a big deal on smaller subreddits but it is nice on ones with lots of posts, if one checks them out in the morning and then again in the evening it is nice to see when I hit a read post when there is a lot of them.

It gets frustrating that the developers have been working on this UI for how long, no one wants or likes it yet it is pushed on us without any given reason why! This format may work on the app version but it is really bad or not user friendly on a browser. Makes no sense to get rid of a UI that everyone likes and want but yet you keep old.reddit going that looks like a kindergartner developed back in the 90's. Go figure!

Hi there!

I will track down someone in regard to the sorting issue and see what the deal is. I totally get that it's frustrating when your sort is changing all over!

And I was just talking with someone about being able to tell which posts you've read! Gonna follow up on this right now.

Thank you for taking the time to add this feedback!
