Disagree. If there are undetermined events, then libertarian free will could exist. This is a logical statement and holds even if undetermined events and therefore libertarian free will could never be shown to be true empirically.

nonsense. If there are uncaused events LFW could not exist. Undetermined events can be counterfactuals and counterfactuals can cause something to happen. Racial tension can be caused by something that didn't even happen. If it didn't happen, then it is a counterfactual.

I don’t follow. The first part of the syllogism is basically the same thing you said in your comment, just re-worded a little different…

determinism logically could be observed but empirically never will (you stated it’s a matter of empirical fact replicated scenarios from complex emergence will never be observed)

To which I syllogized…

therefore freewill logically couldn’t be observed but empirically always will.

So I’m not following what indeterminism has to do with the theory. Are you saying that indeterminism is the ONLY way to get freewill?
