View submission: Addressing the new video player
Any plans on addressing the video player playing random videos rather than videos on the page the user is browsing? Also that the player almost (when swiping down from an NSFW video) never loads up NSFW videos and instead pulls random videos from random subreddits that the user hasnt even previously visited?

We’re always working to improve the video feed algorithm, and what we’re hearing loud and clear is that some users just want to see a video algorithm that mirrors exactly what they are already seeing in their existing feeds. While we’re hoping that we can use the new player to help users discover new subs, we’ll also take this feedback into account.
On nsfw - we’re still ironing out our policy for this, but know that handling this appropriately and respectfully is a top priority for us.
