Welllllll, it looks like I messed up with the evga 850w 80+gold ga. It seems to crash 3000 series cards so I need to return it and get a new power supply. Considering that it’s slim pickings, I have some questions on which one is the best option.

5900x

3080 or 3090 which ever I can get my hands on so going for power enough for 3090.

Amazon:

Corsair rm850x white series 80+gold - 294.99, evil.

Asus rog strix 850w white edition 80+gold - 189.99, less evil.

Gigabyte go-p850gm 80+gold (not gonna fall for this like I did with evga) 139.99

I would think both will be ok for upto 3090 but I thought the same for evga 850w. Let’s make sure. Is this good enough?

I don’t understand what’s wrong with the EVGA psu? 850w is more than enough
