Are there any motherboards out right now that are compatible with Zen 3 but are also future-proof for Zen 4? Last I heard AMD was planning to switch to a new socket with the next generation. I'd like to avoid having to upgrade my motherboard for at least another five years or so.

I mean, a Ryzen Zen 3 processor will see you right for 5 years if you choose wisely now.

As long as am5 (or whatever they will call it) motherboards aren't released you cannot "future-proof", even then they won't be compatible with zen 3 CPUs assuming that the socket is different
