I think the way that i was taught was something along the lines of "humans are born with an innate desire to know God and thus, children who die before baptism can be accepted" It's really just an excuse to bend their own rules and appear less heartless. You're right though, best to just say screw their myths and trust your own feelings. That's all that's important and you know that your children are okay. Thanks for sharing, I couldn't know that kind of pain.
