Chief of Staff of the Belarusian Military resigned yesterday, citing the refusal of Battalion level commanders and above to take part in fighting.
Bear in mind, Lukashenko almost lost his power a year and a half ago. This motherfucker is going to have a bullet in his head before Putin.

This dumb MF straight up broadcast the Russian invasion plans to the entire world. Putin's probably going to skip the bullet and go for nerve agent.

Apparently the Battalion commanders stated flatly that they expected the enlisted men to shoot their commanding officers as soon as they were over the border and all fully kitted out, and then either surrender or join the Ukrainians.
The Belarus troops have not been living in the same disinformation bubble as the Russian troops, most of who had their cell phones taken away from them when they went on their "exercises". They both know what a clusterfuck the conflict they are being asked to join is, AND they almost certainly know about the standing offer of amnesty and 5 million rubles(between 30 and 40K USD) that the Ukrainians are offering to every soldier that surrenders of his own accord.
