I was 14 years old and remember the Iraq shock and awe on the news. Today my daughter and I watched. She’s 14. Shit is wild.

With the embedded journalist program thing they had going there was some pretty heavy censorship or editing going on. The only real time reporting happened with those shitty video phones that were really grainy. I'm sure AJ had some pretty raw stuff from the other side though. What makes Ukraine different is that cameras can now broadcast instantly to the entire planet. There's not really an effective way to control or censor journalists there right now.
