View submission: What are the reasons millions of undocumented immigrants were allowed in the US? I don't recall ever hearing the most obvious reasons by politicians.

I’m not smart enough to know for certain that I’m right, but this is the exact conclusion I’ve come to as well. It matches the logical statistics that I could find and I’m not sure why it’s not more widely talked about.
