Yeah, this is the stuff I was warning against. You've taken reasonable concerns over Reddit's bad practices and turned them into the ravings of a conspiracy theorist.
Unless you have some shocking proof to drop on us, there's no reason to jump to "secret cabal controlling us".

Are you saying Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft, Google, Amazon dont control the overwhelming majority of social platforms used today on the internet?
Unless you have some shocking proof to drop on us, there's no reason to jump to "secret cabal controlling us".
That is in no way shape or form what I or most people when describing the current trend mean. We dont actually mean theres a group of people meeting in a dark room smoking cigars plotting on how to implement their schemes. What it means is that these mentioned organizations are all working towards the same overall goal. They are implement the same policies and support the same legislation because they all want they same outcome.
